Intellectual Property Rights during Exhibitions Receive Considerable Protection

On October 6, the Measures of Yiwu Municipality for the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights during Exhibitions was promulgated and came into force.

It is learnt that the Measures are applicable to the protection of patent, trade mark and copy right during various kinds of exhibitions and trade fairs held in the administrative region of Yiwu. It specifies the rights and duties of exhibition sponsors and exhibitors; clarifies the organization and working mechanism of intellectual property complaint institution; and sets the process of acceptance, transfer and handling of related cases within strict time limit.
